So I am thinking of making an LED kit for the factory tail lights and front turnsignals. It would be similar to the clear lenses kit except you would not be replacing the lenses, but the reflector and bulb set up behind it. It would consist of between 22-35 LED's per light, a total of 90-140 for the left and right rears, and another 24(6 per rectangle) for the center panel. I have not researched the front Turn signals yet, but imagine about 12-15 per. I would use all white LED's for US-Spec (since the lenses are colored) and yellow or orange LED's for JSPEC rear turn signals and all fronts. When lit, the LED's would light the entire area. I will be doing a electrically sound set-up and can figure out all the electrical stuff, so that's not a problem. I'll also work out the dash warning light thing if it becomes an issue. This will look like stock until it's lit up. Is this a retarded idea?
Would anyone be interested in buying this kit or the completed set-up? (probabally about $100 for kit, more for installed)
